Rebranding a legacy brand that resonated with audiences

THE PROBLEM
OffSec's visual brand had fallen behind. It lacked a distinct identity, relied on generic stock imagery, and failed to resonate with or reflect the cybersecurity community it serves. The brand needed more than a refresh, it needed a foundation it had never really had.
MY ROLE
I led creative direction and development. I oversaw logo creation with a creative agency, providing feedback, refinement, and created existing brand guardrails. I built the entire visual brand catalog and have provided a sustainable/scalable direction that can be built upon and iterated on for years to come.
THE TAKEAWAY
The rebrand gave OffSec a visual identity that finally matched the weight of what the company stands for. Internal adoption was strong, with teams across the org embracing the new system quickly, and the refreshed brand has since been applied consistently across 10+ channels and touchpoints. The project reinforced the value of pairing creative ambition with clear constraints, the guardrails put in place early are what made the system scalable.
KEY DECISIONS
I have built my own team of skill agents by connecting Claude and Figma’s MCP to assist in the creative development process. These roles were created in Claude and iterated on. My team includes a project manager, senior designer, copy writer, and creative director. I have the ability to manage this team, own creative and produce work quicker.
